Become CPP-Trained

FSU's Center for Prevention & Early Intervention Policy supports professionals seeking training in Child-Parent Psychotherapy to expand expand access to effective, relationship-based interventions for young children and families.

Who can apply?

Doctoral or Master’s level psychotherapist with a degree in a mental health discipline and be licensed or licensable.

Is agency support required?

Yes. Applicants must have the support of their agency, which will provide bi-weekly reflective supervision.

Can private practitioners participate?

If you are in private practice, you must be willing to participate in the reflective consultation group.

How long is training?

Training is 18 months and consists of virtual training sessions and consultation calls.

When is training being offered?

The 2026-2027 training dates will be released soon
