We would like to invite you to make a contribution to Florida State University’s Young Parents Project. The home visiting program supports court-involved teen mothers/fathers and their babies that are often living in under-resourced communities and have unmet needs.
Your donations provide:
Safety supplies such as first aid kits, diapers, bottles, car seats, and cribs for safe sleep; books and toys that enhance child development; and assistance with birth certificates and IDs that allow teen mothers to access child care and remain in school.
The goal of FSU’s Young Parents Project is to improve the physical and mental health of teen mothers/fathers and their children so that the intergenerational cycle of early parenting, trauma, and recidivism in the juvenile justice system can be broken.
